2012 Volvo C30

Overview
Volvo had a dose-style high-segment hatchback range with the introduction of the C30 a few years ago. The four-seat C30 is based on the Volvo S40 sedan, which was abandoned - with the V50 family related - 2012. The C30 competes with other small luxury cars like the Volkswagen GTI and Mini Cooper S.

Exterior
C30 has received greater scale in 2011, similar to the Volvo XC60 crossover and gives a modern look. One of the design elements most interesting in the C30 is its two-door hatch glass. Volvo says it gives the impression of opening inwards, and the spectators can see the control center dash from behind. Exterior features include:

Interior
Volvo says that four adults can fit inside the compact C30. Rear bucket seats are placed slightly inward of the front seats, which allows for greater forward visibility. In front, the dashboard has a central panel ultra thin, which integrates audio and climate. Interior features include:

2011 Volvo S40

Overview
Smallest Volvo sedan, the compact S40, comes in T5 and T5 trim levels R-Design. Competitors include the Saab 9-3 and Audi A4. The less powerful "i" version was abandoned in 2011, while the engine is the line 227-horsepower five-cylinder engine in the T5 models.

Exterior
Little has changed on the outside, since 2009, the redesign, but Volvo says the 2011 models get a larger Volvo logo on the grill. Exterior features include:

Under The Hood
Only one engine is available for 2011, Volvo has dropped manual transmissions from the S40 line. Drivers have the option to shift gears via the automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive was also removed from the S40. Mechanical features include:

Safety
Volvo is known for its safety and the S40 is no different. The car has a long list of standard safety features, including automatic activation of hazard warning lights illuminated when the deployment of airbags.

2011 Lamborghini Gallardo

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
In 2011, Lamborghini Gallardo is an exotic sports car. It comes as LP 560-4 Coupe and Spyder, Superleggera LP 570-4 and LP 570-4 Coupe and Spyder Performance.

Superleggera and Spyder-performance carbon fiber for the external and internal components, most powerful V10, a standard automated manual transmission, polycarbonate rear and side windows, lighter 19-inch wheels, leather upholstery and faux suede special colors. Carbon-ceramic brakes and a rear spoiler are optional permanent, and most of extra normal Gallardo.

Powertrains and Performance
In 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 is powered by a V10 5.2-liter that sends 552 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. A six-speed manual transmission with a metal gated shifter is standard, while a six-speed manual gearbox, automated clutch single (known as "e-gear") is optional. The Gallardo is expected to range from zero to 60 km / h in the interval mid-3-seconds. Fuel economy EPA-estimated (if you care) is 12 mpg highway mpg city/20 mpg and 15 combined with the traditional manual and 13/20/16 with e-gear.

OMEGA & Michael Phelps 'Shanghai Boutique Visit'

From OMEGA Legendary Olympian and OMEGA brand ambassador Michael Phelps is in Shanghai for the FINA World Championships but before he starts his final preparations for the competition, he took some time to see his friends at OMEGA. The brand serves once again as Official Timekeeper for the Championships. Michael had the opportunity to visit the OMEGA Boutique at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel. Being one of the greatest swimmers in history, Michael got the chance to talk to some young Chinese swimming fans, who were all enthusiastic about meeting him.

As to what time means to him, Michael said, “Time is of paramount importance to me. In swimming, a hundredth of a second can determine the result. That’s why precise timing is critical to competitive swimming. OMEGA is visible everywhere I compete. It’s just like having a family around when I’m travelling.” He added, “OMEGA has offered unwavering support for a long time. I really think that being part of a company like this is extremely special. It’s been amazing to have been an ambassador for so many years. I’m looking forward to sharing time with them this summer at the World Championships in Shanghai, and of course I'm looking ahead to the London 2012 Olympic Games.”

At the boutique, Michael also assumed a different role. In addition to autographing watch boxes containing the newly upgraded Seamaster Planet Ocean collection, the 14-time Olympic gold medalist, donned a white lab coat and a watchmaker's loupe. He was then joined by the children who were also outfitted in OMEGA lab coats and worked with them as they used precision horological hand tools to disassemble a watch movement. The next challenge was to put the OMEGA movement back together and Michael and the children applauded each other enthusiastically when they successfully completed this daunting task.



The Swatch Art Peace Hotel where the OMEGA Boutique is located is directly on Shanghai's iconic Bund, is a historic landmark in Shanghai. It has been painstakingly renovated and now offers the same magnificent splendor that has defined it since it first opened its doors as the Palace Hotel in 1908.
