Following extensive design and development, Hexa Watches are unveiling their premier model, the limited-edition K500, a purpose-built dive watch with an emphasis on innovation and utility.

The K500 utilizes surgical steel construction and a sapphire crystal with interior anti-reflective coating. Innovative features include a unique integrated left-hand crown guard design, luminescence by LümTec, a ratcheting dive clasp, high-grip crown and bezel and ultra-legible dial design. It is hand assembled in the US and has a depth rating of 500M (50 Bar). The watch is powered by the workhorse Miyota 9015 automatic movement. Each piece is numbered and features an engraved crown and case back.

In keeping with the tenet of “form follows function”, every design and engineering decision was based on how to best offer the greatest efficiency and durability for each component. The goal was to create the ultimate tool for nautical and underwater timekeeping.

The K500 model name is derived from the design concept nickname (“Kraken”), and the model’s 500M depth rating. The K500 Premier edition will be limited to 500 pieces worldwide and will be available in Brushed, Bead-Blasted and PVD finishes. Pre-sale pricing will be $599 ($699 MSRP) for Brushed and Bead-blasted; $699 ($799 MSRP) for PVD. A PVD Bezel option will also be available for the Brushed and Bead-blasted models at $39 addl.

The watch will ship on a 5-link stainless steel bracelet in a custom Seahorse Waterproof box, along with a rubber dive strap and extra bracelet pins and links. A two-year manufacturer’s warranty is included. In addition to special watch pricing, the first 250 pre-sale customers will receive recognition by name in the included literature, early reservations of future models, and lifetime timing adjustments free of charge.

Hexa products will be sold directly through their website, hexawatches.com The company is currently accepting reservations for the K500, which will be produced in the coming months.
