By TLex I'm pretty sure that I wasn't alone in having mixed feelings for the new Superocean, when it was unveiled last year. Whilst the watch looked sensational, albeit with a lack of lume pip on its bezel (pretty much a prerequisite for a divers watch); but it came with a surprisingly small 41mm case diameter, which immediately killed it for me!
The new Superocean 44 addresses the size issue and on true Breitling form the new larger case size gets an increased depth rating, in this case from 1'500m up to 2'000m and professional-type dial with Arabic markers only at 6 an 9. Stay tuned for more details as and when I get them . . .
