BLANCPAIN X Fathoms (sneak peek3)

By TLex The latest BLANCPAIN X Fathoms TEASER #2 reveals what looks very much like a depth gauge divers watch; could this be what the new X Fathoms is? And could this explain the mystery honeycomb mesh 'no radiations' thingamabob; a possible depth sensor? It would make sense for BLANCPAIN to release a mechanical depth gauge to head up their diving series as have Jaeger-LeCoultre with their Master Compressor DIVING Pro Geographic or IWC with the DEEP TWO. Whatever the X Fathoms may be, it's quite a departure from the classic Fifty Fathoms, but one that promises to deliver something truly exceptional.

BLANCPAIN X Fathoms (sneak peek)

By TLex BLANCPAIN are to launch their new divers model, the 'X Fathoms' at an exclusive unveiling event in Dubai on October 25th. Here's a sneak peek at what looks to be the X Fathoms' caseback complete with 'No Radiations' depression in honeycomb mesh. I really want to be excited about this, but from this first teaser, which shows a black molded case, I can't help thinking CHANEL J12 Marine or worst still TechnoMarine; I hope I'm wrong. The name at least hints at something exciting. Stay tuned for lots more soon . . .

HEXA K500 Update (K500 in plastic 'n' paper)

By TLex Below is the first update from HEXA Watches. Over 100 reservations of the K500 were taken in the first two weeks . . .

From HEXA Above is a spy shot of the K500 case (no bezel) in plastic on an orange test strap (not inc. with watch). We had the design 3D-printed from our CAD files so that we have a physical model to mock up with various printed versions of the dial. The dial and hand details have been finalized and the official prototyping process is now underway.

RedSea Watches (last day of pre-orders)

By TLex Today is your last chance to grab yourself one of the RedSea Watches' pre-order watches. The Holystone and Six Pounder dive watches' pre-order prices allow you to take advantage of a 100USD discount. That's 565USD or 595USD for the PVD models. An additional FREE custom NATO strap is also being offered to all pre-order customers. It's been quite a wait for the watches, but from what I hear the the boys (Josh & Troy) are very pleased with them. The watches are currently undergoing QC in the United States before shipping out, starting from today.

Vintage VDB 2011 DUALTIME (prototype)

By TLex The Vintage VDB 2011 is shaping up very nicely. That's a really nice solid looking case and serious looking bezel teeth. The shrouded lugs are pretty cool, but I'm really starting to find myself attracted to VDB's now signature 12-sided caseback design. Stay tuned for more soon . . .
