By TLex The Lagunare has been around for ten years now; here's the latest incarnation, the Lagunare Automatic L1000, which is a slightly scaled down automatic version of the Lagunare Chronograph L1000 from last year. The new 44mm, 300m diver houses the ubiquitous EA2824-2 and is available in three color variants; black, blue or white . . .
Lagunare Automatic L1000 True strength of character under water . . .
From GLYCINE Ten years after the first Lagunare appeared on the market, Glycine is now launching the diver watch Lagunare Automatic L1000. With a diameter of 44 millimetres, it has a more compact design than its predecessors.
Strong in character with a robust and functional design, the Lagunare is a real eye-catcher. During the ten years since the first model was launched, Glycine's diver watch line has gained considerable popularity, amongst both divers and watch lovers.
Glycine is now launching another remarkable model: the Lagunare Automatic L 1000. This is the first model to have a diameter of 44 millimetres – all the previous models of this line were 2 millimetres larger.
The Lagunare Automatic L1000 is water-resistant to a depth of 1000 feet – hence its name –, that is to a depth of 300 metres. The watch is available with three different dials: the highly luminous version with a black dial and an orange minute hand which is a key requirement for diver watches, the elegant version with a white dial and the watery blue version which arouses a longing for the sea. Distinctive features of all three versions are the characteristic luminous element on the rotating bezel and the blocking crown at the 4 o'clock position.
Glycine will be presenting further exciting innovations from its product family at the Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show. We can already reveal that lovers of the Airman model will not be disappointed.
