HELSON Skindiver '100 Fathoms'

By TLex There are no prizes for guessing, where Peter Helson took the inspiration for the Skindiver. He has a real passion for vintage divers, which has lead him to the creation of a number of outstanding watches; which in turn have helped garner HELSON's unique position in the Boutique dive watch arena as not only the young watch company with whom we should now expect the unexpected, but as the boutique watch company who are capable of making dreams come true!

Yes, dreams made by the latent wannabe vintage dive watch collectors and connoisseurs of this world. Those of us, who neither posses the know-how nor the dollar to track down and acquire such rarities. And not only us, those too who already own originals are also buying HELSON's vintage recreations as everyday wearers not least of which because they are so enjoyable to wear, but because they offer exceptional value for money, and are of an outstanding quality.

The HELSON Skindiver's 41mm 316L stainless case is water-resistant to 100 Fathoms or 200m. It features a lumed acrylic bezel, which wraps around a thick domed acrylic crystal. The Skindiver houses an ETA 2824-2 Swiss caliber and is available with or without a date window and with a choice of C3 SuperLumiNova or light orange lume. It comes presented on a vintage style rubber divers strap.

So what should we expect from HELSON, next? All I can say is keep expecting the unexpected and keep dreaming, if Peter Helson has anything to do with it, it won't be too long before you have the vintage dive watch collection of your dreams!

UPDATE The Skindiver will be available from April 27th, price 649USD . . .
