The Gennaker, which takes its name from a type of sail sports a black carbon fiber dial with a striking (literally) lightening bolt second hand. It houses a mechanical self-winding movement and is fitted with AR coated sapphire crystal. However one of the coolest features of the Gennaker has to be its incredible lumed bezel, which makes use of Midnight Luminary Composite (MLC), a new technology that was tested, designed and implemented for STOLAS Watches and is guaranteed for serious retina damage!

ANONIMO Carbon Diver 2ndLook

By TLex ANONIMO first presented their new Carbon Diver at Baselworld this year. As its name implies the Carbon Diver makes good use of carbon fibre not only for its dial but also for its fixed outer bezel; a first for Anonimo, who have yet to use this lightweight and sporty material for any of their current or previous models. The watch is based on Anomimo's entry level model, the 'Sailor Diver'; a watch created with both recreational divers and sailors in mind. Its 42mm x 13.3mm stainless steel case has a water-resistance of 300 meters or 30atm. It houses the Anonimo 01.0 automatic calibre, SELLITA SW200 base.



The Carbon Diver, which shares its case with the 'Sailor Diver' retains many of its characteristics, such as its handset and dial markers. However its 3, 6, 9 Arabic numerals now sport an additional '12'. These numerals have also been enlarged for improved legibility. ANONIMO's decision to use carbon for its dial and bezel came about from a recognition of the increased use of the high-tech material for maritime applications, where it is valued for its exceptional toughness and ultra light weight. Carbon fiber is widely used in shipbuilding and yacht racing.



The Carbon Diver distinguishes itself from other watches in ANONIMO's line of professional divers watches, which are known and loved for their simplicity technical abilities. This is certainly an aesthetic departure for Anomimo, but one that will no doubt find favor among those that appreciate the many virtues of carbon fiber and of course its sporty good looks!

2012 FIAT 500

In 2012 FIAT 500 goes to American shores for the first time in years, and this elegant mini-sedan seems to be a place for them in the car, buy hearts.

2011 Audi A6

In 2011, the Audi A6 is back again and ready to turn heads.
