B.O.C. BLACKSEA (new)

By TLex No, this isn't a B.O.C. custom Rolex Submariner; it's their own creation. I use the term 'own creation' quite loosely as this is a basically a pimped Sub-clone albeit finished by one the best DLC merchants in the industry, who offer a lifetime warranty on their treatments. B.O.C. have applied their 'Black Out Concept' to everything from Bentleys and Harleys to Panerai and Richard Mille. They have a celebrity following that includes big names like Sylvester Stallone, 50 Cent and Kayne West.



The B.O.C. BLACKSEA has a 42mm x 13mm stainless steel case finished in matt black DLC (exc. crown) with a unidirectional rotational divers bezel and sapphire crystal. The watch case is water-resistant to 300 meters and has a screwdown crown and matt black engraved caseback. The BLACKSEA houses the ubiquitous Swiss workhorse, the ETA 2824-2 automatic movement with 25 jewels. PRICE: 1'980€.

2012 Honda Odyssey

Completely redesigned for 2011 Honda Odyssey minivan 2012 comes with only changes in exterior color.



Odyssey uses only a 3.5-liter V6 engine. It is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission in LX, EX and EX-L trim lines, and a six-speed automatic transmission on the Touring models.

Features, the LX include 17-inch steel wheels, dual zone climate control, heated mirrors, Privacy Glass, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, eight-way power driver seat, wide-mode, adjustable second-row seats, 60/40 split- Magic Folding Seat, third row seats in front of the handbag hook the car up / down driver window, cruise control, CD/MP3 stereo and auxiliary input jack.

The EX adds 17-inch wheels, alloy wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, body colored door handles, security system, heated front seats, multi-center seat, outside temperature indicator flip-ring trash bag, Bluetooth, second-row sunshades, power sliding doors, removable center console, center panel shows the selector, six-CD/MP3 stereo, Bluetooth connectivity and a USB connector. A rear entertainment system is optional.

The EX-L adds parking sensors, electric sunroof, four-passenger seats, leather seats, leather steering wheel, the power supply of 115 volts, auto-dimming rearview mirror, cooler, a power liftgate, rear seats DVD entertainment system with nine-inch wireless headphones and XM Satellite Radio.

The Touring adds 18-inch alloy wheels, acoustic windshield, fog lights, xenon headlights, Information System, third row center armrest, ramp room, navigation system, the third-row sunshades, multi- information display, CD/MP3 stereo high-end, high-Definition Multimedia Interface and rear seat DVD entertainment system with 16.2 inches.

2012 Honda Fit

Small but roomy oh well, the Honda Fit is still a need in the shopping list of any subcompact buyer. But despite its undeniable qualities, only 1953 units sold in July, up 55% last year. Facing fierce competition from the likes of the Ford Fiesta and the Hyundai Accent, the Japanese automaker has decided to modify the model for 2012.



By the way, the basic version inherits mirrors, color-coordinated and new wheel covers, while the sport will have a new front bumper, a redesigned grille, headlights and wheels sleek new black.

Inside, all options will benefit from more sound insulation, engineers have worked to reduce the intrusion of noise to the cabin noise below the waterproof floor, in front of the arches and columns.

You will also find new winter tires, new lighting and two original colors (blue and metallic orange), which will replace the two similar shades of the old version.

Fit Sport once had a little 'extra attention. Dash, will boast a dark metal parts and chrome accents around the gauges. It comes standard with steering wheel audio.

The same 1.5-liter 4-cylinder will be in service in 2012, producing 117 horsepower and 106 lb-ft of torque mated to a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Here's a sneak peek at what looks to be the X Fathoms' caseback complete with 'No Radiations' depression in honeycomb mesh. I really want to be excited about this, but from this first teaser, which shows a black molded case, I can't help thinking CHANEL J12 Marine or worst still TechnoMarine; I hope I'm wrong.
