Further specifications include a water-resistance of 100 atmos or 1000 meters, double gaskets, anti-magnetic to 70,000 A/m and a Swiss mechanical, top-grade ETA 2824-2. The TC1 comes on a beautiful 22mm handmade custom leather strap from master strap maker Jacob Straps of Spain.

Jaeger-LeCoultre MC Diving SEALs [On Al Pacino's Wrist]

By TLex On September 4th 2011, the legendary American actor and director, Al Pacino was awarded the Jaeger-Le Coultre Glory to the Filmmaker 2011 Award, a prize of the Biennale di Venezia, created in collaboration with Jaeger-LeCoultre, and dedicated to an artist who has left an original mark on contemporary cinema.

The award was presented to Al by actress Jessica Chastain, a talent, who he discovered himself. After the ceremony there was a world premiere of Al Pacino's third feature-length directorial picture, Wilde Salome, an unprecedented behind the scenes look at his odyssey.



Al can be seen here wearing a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Diving Navy SEALs. Al is the second celeb to have recently been spotted with one of these JLC SEALs Divers. Paul Walker has also been seen wearing one.

PROMETHEUS Baiji (first look)

By TLex Introducing the PROMETHEUS Baiji, named so as a tribute to the freshwater dolphin of the Yangtze River that despite all the efforts that were made to conserve it was officially declared extinct in 2006. It is the first recorded extinction of a well-studied cetacean species to be directly attributable to humans. PROMETHEUS want to raise awareness of this type of tragic loss whilst reminding us all that we are not the only ones living on this planet, and if we don't take care of it our fate could well be the same as the Baiji's . . .



On to the watch; this is an affordable Tritium diver like the Jellyfish. In fact the Baiji shares the same 44mm x 51.5mm Jellyfish case with the same 30mm opening, 22mm bracelet tapering to 20mm and sapphire glass, but with a few improvements and housing a new movement for Prometheus, which will be either a Seagull TY2130 or ST2130. These are Chinese made ETA2824-2 clones that from what I hear have come a long way in the last few years.



The Baiji will come in two cases finishes brushed 316L stainless steel or black PVD. Three dial colors will be available in black, orange and white. The Baiji’s hands are larger than that of the Jellyfish's and its dial will now combine SuperLumiNova with tritium tubes for increased readability. Stay tuned for more . . .
