2011 Hyundai Veracruz

The 2011 Veracruz is a four-door, seven passenger SUV, available in four versions, ranging from the GLS to the Limited AWD.



After the introduction, the GLS is equipped with a standard 3.8-liter V6, 260 horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 22 mpg highway. Limited AWD is equipped with a standard 3.8-liter V6, 260-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 21 mpg highway. 6-speed automatic overdrive is standard on both trim.



In 2011, Vera Cruz is a transfer from 2010.









Other SUVs to Consider

While the Veracruz is a good value, the Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia offers more comfortable seating and better performance at all, always can stomach the high prices.



If sticking to your budget is more important to you, take a look at the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot. Both have three rows of seats. The Highlander uses less fuel much better than the Veracruz and has a lower starting price. The pilot has three sets of LATCH Connect in the second row - a big plus for families with three children in car seats - and costs about the same as that of Vera Cruz. Acceleration and Power

The Veracruz comes with a 3.8-liter V6 shared with the Azera sedan. The engine delivers 260 horsepower and 257 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, equipped with a manual shift mode.

2011 Ferrari 458 Spider

2012 Volkswagen CC Lux Limited

The frame is comfortable and a great car, all the good manners. The steering is very light, and is not exactly a car that wants to be pushed. Fuel economy is impressive, although the requirement of premium fuel grates on me. I put 87 octane in a Ford Mustang GT with twice the power in the morning and 93 octane at four p.m. banger.



However, money is a great product that looks and behaves well. It is also very smart and very swoopy. I give all the credit in the world of VW for taking risks, trying something different to attract both public and style - and I say, taking it all. Sales figures can not be that VW wants, but the car is very strong.

BOSCHETT Harpoon (first look)

By TLex BOSCHETT Timepieces have unveiled their latest divers project on WUS. I like what I'm seeing so far; there are a couple of interesting design features. Firstly, if you look carefully at the left lateral sides of the case at the '3' and '9' you'll notice there are slight recesses, where the crown and HEV have been placed. This gives the case a nice balanced feel and makes a bit of a feature of an otherwise fairly ordinary HEV.







You can't see it in the drawings here, but the bezel will have a slight lip to it, which will rise up by a couple of millimeters offering added functionality. For those, who like a more traditional style bezel, a second will be included as standard with the Harpoon. BOSCHETT will incorporate a harpoon style second hand to tie in the name 'Harpoon'. At the moment this needs a little tweaking, but I really like it and hope they will stick with it.







The Harpoon will house an ETA 2824 and will measure 45mmx 15.5mm x 52mm with 24mm lugs. Stay tuned for more soon.
