From OMEGA Omega's iPhone App lets fans browse the entire collection and carry images and technical data about every OMEGA wristwatch, including the much talked-about Planet Oceans, in their pocket. Now, with this update, the current Ladymatic and Hour Vision animated watches are joined by one of the most extraordinary new watches in the collection - the Seamaster Planet Ocean Co-Axial Chronograph.



On the new animated Planet Ocean, the pushers activate the counters. The bezel is animated too, and with a tap on the dial the revolutionary Co-Axial movement becomes visible – the oscillating weight responds realistically as the iPhone moves! The time and date, of course, are also attractively displayed on the animated Planet Ocean.



Some interesting new links have also been added to the OMEGA iPhone App, and OMEGA fans can now watch the new Planet Ocean video. The news section has been updated and now includes photographs along with the stories.



There is also a selection of new wallpapers featuring some of the most popular OMEGA brand ambassadors (George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Cindy Crawford, Zhang Ziyi, Michael Phelps, Daniel Craig and Buzz Aldrin) and timepieces. A tap on the “Watch Detail” button brings up detailed information about the watches they are wearing.

Electric Raceabout In-Car Lap of the Nürburgring [video]

Electric Raceabout have posted a video on You tube of their all wheel drive EV prototype setting a time around the Nürburgring.Developed by the Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, the Raceabout features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and four electric motors which are fed by a 32 kWh lithium-titanate battery. This setup gives the car an output of 272 PS (200 kW / 268 hp) and
