DAVOSA Argonautic CERAMIC (chrono)

By TLex Introducing the DAVOSA Argonautic CERAMIC Chrono. Apart from its Valjoux 7750 Chronograph movement this is pretty much the same watch as the three handed version that was featured here last week. Its Stainless Steel case measures 42.5mm, but with a slightly greater thickness of 16.5mm to allow for the larger movement. There's a manual HEV at 10'oclock and Chrono pushers complete with toothed grip at 2 and 4. Its water-resistance remains 33ATM or 330m. The Argonautic's ceramic bezel is available in glossy black with either yellow or white markings. Still loving those hands!

ARCHIMEDE SportTaucher (blue bezel)

By TLex ARCHIMEDE have created a new solid steel bezel for their diver, the SportTaucher, which is pictured here with its blue dial and matching blue bezel markings. For those that missed my post yesterday I posted a sneak peek of its black dial sibling. Both versions should be available in the next couple of weeks.

LIMES ENDURANCE Neptun 2 (new)

By TLex Introducing the new LIMES ENDURANCE Neptun 2, the latest edition to the LIMES ENDURANCE line, which includes the Neptun1, the 1Tausend Chrono and the 1Tausend GMT. The ENDURANCE divers are all capable of withstanding up to 1'000meters of water-resistance, have large screw-down crowns, screw-down casebacks and are fitted with unidirectional rotational divers bezels with ergonomically designed scalloped grip to ensure ease of use even with a divers glove.



Other attributes of the ENDURANCE line include large luminous hands and clear dials to allow for a surer reading even in poor light conditions. LIMES use dependable and robust Swiss calibers for the whole ENDURANCE line: ETA 2893 (GMT), Valjoux 7750 (chrono) and Sellita SW200 for the 3 hands models such as the new Neptun 2. Its case measures a modest 41.2mm x 12.6mm. LIMES of the belief that even a 1000m dive watch should be comfortably worn the whole day.

ARCHIMEDE SportTaucher (new bezel)

By TLex The ARCHIMEDE SportTaucher gets lovely new solid steel bezel. The SportTaucher pictured here with its black dial will be joined by 2nd blue dial version. The SportTaucher with the new steel bezel should be available in the next couple of weeks. ARCHIMEDE are also working on a new website, stay tuned for an announcement here as soon as it goes live . . .

deLaCour REEF SAVER (prototype)

By TLex This a prototype of deLaCour’s new divers model the REEF SAVER. The Geneva based luxury watch brand have only been established since 2003, but already have a list of celebrity devotees that includes; Lenny Kravitz, Sharron Stone, Cristiano Ronaldo and fellow Portuguese and manger of Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho, who is the brand’s official ambassador. The avant garde design philosophy of deLaCour has lead them to this surprisingly utilitarian looking divers watch. Its case, which is water-resistant to 500m will be constructed from titanium.



The REEF SAVER looks to have dual bezels; an internal bezel, which is operable via a crown at 2 o’clock as well a ubiquitous external unidirectional divers bezel. The sharp eyed among you might also notice that the prototype’s handset differs from that of the black finished rendering below. I’m really not sure, which one the final model will have, but the handset in the rendering looks way better to me. That’s all I have on the REEF SAVER for the moment, stay tuned for lots more soon . . .
